It is soooo easy to make homemade dressing & as an added bonus you save on the expense of buying organic pre-made dressings. This is my go-to and absolute fav!! Now I know what you’re saying, ” I don’t have time to make it,” but I say hell yea you do! This took me all of 3 minutes!
There is something transforming when you get in the kitchen and create. I don’t know about you but I feel a sense of gratitude when I am taking care of ME and my husband. It’s worth your time to be creative and healthy and in taking the time you create a healthy mindset as well.
Lemons are very powerful citrus fruits. They balance the pH in the body which can fight off infections. Lemons also boost your immune system & can reduce inflammation in the body. I don’t know about you but I just want more and more lemons!!
Fun fact about Honey…..HONEY……..Not only is Honey and anti-inflammatory, it’s an anti-viral, an -anti-bacterial and not to mention it relieves allergies.
I recommend buying raw local honey if it’s available. WHY? Raw local honey is packed with vitamins, enzymes and powerful antioxidants whereas processed honey is not.
Lemon Dijon Vinaigrette
A delightful and deliscious DIY dressing that’s super easy to make.
- 1 cup avocado oil (or extra virgin olive oil)
- 1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 tbs Dijon mustard
- 2 tbs Juice of lemon
- 2 tbs Honey
- 1/4 tsp Sea salt
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbs Dried Oregano
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Blend all ingredients in food processor. Put in favorite glass jar and store in the fridge for up to 1 month
A lifestyle change can begin one simple step at a time but you have to take that step. If you want to feel good about what you are giving your body then I think you will make time to do it!
